IV Sunway Formentera International Chess Festival started last week. Another edition of a unique event that's aiming to combine strong chess in an incredible location, with the signature Sunway treat for players. Looking forward to 11 days of fun and competition! #ChessInParadise

GM Sergey Fedorchuk 🇺🇦 is the winner of our first event, the Bullet Open, that awards points for our Chess Pentathlon. GM Valentin Dragnev 🇦🇹, who is back to Formentera again this year, took second place, and CM Vedant Pimpalkhare 🇮🇳 was third.

GM Valentin Dragnev 🇦🇹 is the winner 🏆 of the IV Sunway Formentera Chess Festival. He finished undefeated scoring 8.5/10 points. He also won several side events, becoming Sunway Pentathlon's winner as well; the first player ever who takes both prizes, congratulations!
