Dear Health Organizations, Thanks for your expressions of ‘solidarity' online. But this isn't just a social media trend. Now, you must act through anti-racism, not tokenism. Be accountable through change, not performative allyship. Sincerely, BIPOC Health Workers Everywhere

Last year, Alec Dunn & I collaborated on a wound care guide particular to harm reduction settings. I've received a number of msgs over the past few weeks from people who have found it really useful. Here's a link, in case you will find it useful too. issuu.com/nextdistro/doc…

So much trauma and so much pain when people with no home have to move....some went to shelter and some to camp elsewhere. Please: if you see folks in a tent, instead of picking up the phone to complain, be kind and remember - we are all neighbours here. We are all doing our best.

Having worked several years as a doctor for people experiencing homelessness, I can say with certainty, that while medical care is important, what people really need is housing.

A terminal cancer diagnosis has changed the arc of my career. I'm winding down the lab, but VERY excited to launch a fundraising campaign to raise money for young scholars to participate in the Research Society on Alcoholism Annual Meeting.

Super grateful for all of the community organizations who came out today to the first McMaster Pediatric Mental Health Fair. We all learned so much MacPeds about the services available in our community that we can refer to in order to improve patient care!! ☺️
