First ever Surly Brewing Co. Day of Service! Cheers to the mighty Surly crew who packed up 38,877 lbs of food + labeled 4,000 bags today at Second Harvest Heartland! Thank you for Giving A Damn.

Cheers to this entire crew for battling it out to see which brewery could pack the most in one night! Barrel Theory took the trophy (again-deep sigh) but The Food Group and their clients really won. As a group we packed 2,900 lbs of rice, which is 2,416 meals. Great work all!

HandsOn Twin Cities brought the thunder today and 100 volunteers to transform Surly’s back yard into our new Surly Gives A Damn Donation Garden! Thank you for your skill, support and helping turn this dream into a reality!

This SGAD crew showed up in force to keep the donation garden moving forward. Filled all the raised beds, spread more mulch and got to planting!

The donation garden continues to get built out. Compost bin, done. Tools and mulch moved until shed arrives. Irrigation system on its way. Plants growing!!!

First harvest for Every Meal today. Only 8 lbs but growing stronger every day. This awesome team also crushed out the irrigation system. Woohoo! Grow little garden, grow!
