Surrey Charm was retired from racing in October. She wasn’t in love with racing but she was a very sweet horse and was loved by her owners. We decided to retire her and make sure she went to a good home. She is now enjoying life as an eventer with a lovely family on their farm ⭐️

Tony Harding Dan Andrew O'Connor Yeah I get it but it works the other way as well, without fans buy tickets and people spending on the day there are no profits for the courses, they can’t stay open and then there are no races for owners.

What about the fact that mass produced lunch is fairly cheap but if it’s good for owners then more will turn up and spend money elsewhere - ie at the bar ?

Good question / however; it is offered, so we are more than likely to run your horse where it’s a decent offering, and therefore market forces dictate hence the original post.

With the old standing you used to fall about 5 rows before returning to your spot, only to surge back down again with the next attack !!

Owners mornings are a huge part of Surrey Racing. We regularly organise stable visits to our yards where members get a chance to see their horses, talk to the trainer and enjoy a lovely morning on the gallops with like minded people ⭐️

Like most they offer different share sizes, and that’s very well publicised. I’m sure they send out a contract which states the terms and conditions which all reputable syndicates do so it shouldn’t be a shock and maybe in some cases someone has a higher % but it’s not a scam.

A fantastic weekend with the owners visiting Surrey Etoile Tim Donworth and racing at a glorious Chantilly. France Galop really know how to put on a show, great racing, free entry, accessing all areas and the bar stayed open 2.5 hours after the last race. Shares available !
