#IHSymARU Testing student knowledge in inclusion health not enough. Need to develop capabilities in managing complexity, being pragmatic, and interprofessional working if we are to truly address the needs of people from socially excluded populations.

The future of the NHS depends on its workforce bmj.com/content/384/bm… Depressingly, I doubt these recommendations will ever be implemented. The highlighting of childcare problems for NHS is welcome and could be easily solved by onsite nurseries in NHS organisations.

bmj.com/content/385/bm… An emphasis on public health is vital if the NHS is to be sustainable. To quote Helen Salisbury, we must stop " just fishing bodies out of the river but going upstream to find out who’s pushing people in (doi:10.1136/bmj.q918)."
