Violence against women is sex-based. Eg in conflict zones, pregnant women are explicitly targeted, face specific risks. Reem Alsalem UNSR Violence Against Women and Girls is absolutely right that denying this, in favour of trendy idea that identity is what matters, is dangerous

I second this. Met Michele Moore for first time last week. It's so upsetting how much she & other brave women lost, because they pushed back against idea of innate 'gender identity' distinct from sex - requiring *children* to undergo medical body modification
