Results-P1 📊 RNA seq showed significant dysregulation of miRNAs released by microglia with the ALS-linked M337V mutation in TDP-43 🙋‍♀️Dysregulation of miRNAs was more pronounced in females, especially with LPS stimulation 🧪TDP mutation didn’t alter microglial response to LPS

Results-P2 🧬Three miRNAs- mi-16-5, miR-99a-5p and miR-191-5p were significantly downregulated in mutant microglia 🧠These miRNAs target genes involved in neuronal development. 🦠Results indicate miRNA dysregulation could play a non-inflammatory role in disease #ALS #SussexRNA
