Leaders at Conner Elementary have a morning huddle to discuss goals and high priority actions for the day. Leadership team morning huddles are a great opportunity to norm on priorities and key actions, build trusting relationships, and strengthen alignment between team members.

At Stevens Park Elementary, Mr. Hernandez coaches Mr. Johnson on the implementation of Eureka Math. In the coaching debrief, Mr. Hernandez models how to chunk the learning and provide scaffolding to increase student engagement and productive struggle in every lesson.

Leaders at Casa View Elementary lead a data analysis meeting for the 4th grade team. In this meeting team members analyzed data from the mock STAAR exam and created an action plan for reteaching specific TEKS and providing targeted interventions to groups of students.

Leaders at Soto Elementary facilitate a PLC meeting focused on analyzing students’ writing - extended constructed response (ECR) essays. Using the STAAR ECR rubric, leaders and teachers calibrated on the scoring, identified trends, and planned reteach lessons. C.M. Soto Jr. Elementary Leaders

SustainED Leaders facilitated Strategic Improvement Planning for school leadership teams in Temple ISD. The leaders reflected on their progress toward end of year goals and developed plans for a strong finish to the school year. Temple ISD

During the April Residency Day, ALP residents presented their capstone projects to peers and shared an instructional leadership problem of practice that defined a challenge and specific leadership actions taken throughout the year to support and develop a team of teachers. #ALP

Leadership coach Rachel Yearwoood works with leaders at Chapel Hill Prep on strategic planning for the 24-25 school year.  The leaders worked to create a master schedule that optimizes time for each content / curriculum, regular PLC meetings, and interventions for all students.
