The Sutton Harbour pedestrian footbridge is closed as of today for essential maintenance by the Environment Agency and will reopen from 0600 on Wednesday 2nd July. The lock will remain open to marine traffic with periods of minor disruption. We apologise for any inconvenience.

We have been advised by the Environment Agency that urgent repair works are necessary to the lock gates which requires closure of the footbridge. We anticipate the footbridge will be closed from July 3 evening to July 11. We apologise for any inconvenience.
