Just a reminder that Monday, January 6 is a staff inservice/student holiday for SISD. Students will return to class on Tuesday, January 7.

In January, we are taking time to recognize our School Board for their tireless work on behalf of our employees and students. Thank you to the men and women of the SISD Board of Trustees for your leadership.

Teachers and support staff are participating in an inservice day to prepare for the second semester. Students are home today enjoying one last day of winter break. Classes and regular schedules will resume Tuesday.

Welcome back Mustangs! We have missed seeing all our students and cannot wait to hear how everyone spent their winter break. Please drive safely in our school zones and observe speed limits. Learning in 2025 is off to a great start!

Just a reminder that Sweetwater ISD schools are closed Friday, January 10 as part of the approved 2024-25 school calendar. SISD Child Care Center is open on Friday.

Sweetwater ISD will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. As a result, the Board of Trustees will meet on a special night at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in the J.P. Cowan Cafeteria, 400 W. 4th St. #MustangSpirit
