Israel has killed 17,000 Palestinians, including 7,000 children since Oct 7. Over 1.7m of Gaza's 2.3m people have been displaced. Tens of thousands more wounded. But the Biden admin vetoes a resolution at the UNSC that called for an "immediate humanitarian ceasefire".

Of the 15 UNSC members, 13 voted in favour of the resolution, which was cosponsored by nearly 100 UN member states; one abstained (UK) and one voted against (US). Imagine, these guys were attacking India until a few months ago over its abstentions in the UN 'on moral grounds'!
