Tell us your experience with predatory journals! They bombard us with emails to publish with them. They appear dodgy and unscientific. But they also evolve and keep finding new ways to lure us in. How predatory journals are defined (from Dec 2019): nature.com/articles/d4158…

You know you are paying for prestige when it takes 5 minutes to find how much the APC actually is (see here academic.oup.com/journals/pages…). Don't be a fool. Pick a 0 APC journal (that gets money from government) or a low cost commercial open access publisher. Stop the prestige game.

Excited to finalize the docs for our first submission to the Swiss Psychology Open ; a new journal replacing the Swiss Journal of Psychology. This new journal is resolutely modern, in its scope and way to conceptualize and publish psychological science. @OpenScienceUNIL

The idea was introduced earlier for PCI Registered Reports (@[email protected]) by Chris Chambers, go.nature.com/3yfN0xR. Ubiquity Press
