This is probably the biggest radicalising thing for me as a YIMBY. I might not love how every new building looks, but my aesthetic preferences are so trivial compared to the value of new housing. I don't know why anyone'd think otherwise.

The state government has approved 1185 apartments with 219 affordable in Five Dock, over Canada Bay council’s loud protests. 🎯

Another flyer about council’s plans warning about “decreased property values”. If you think it’d be a good thing to reduce property values in the inner west, please make a submission: supporthousingcode.good.do/innerwest

Why anyone is opposed to towers *literally* next door to a train station boggles the mind. It’s a 20 minute train to the city or Parra. Pre-existing high amenity. It’s where towers belong. smh.com.au/politics/nsw/w… Sydney YIMBY

Not sure if you've heard but Inner West Council want to build 30,000 new homes... This is a really great plan. Sydney needs these homes. Please make a submission here thanks to Sydney YIMBY: lnkd.in/gE28TNJn #yimby #morehomes #housingabundance #fairercities #futurecities

Is it “We have to ACT NOW” or “give the community more time”? Upzoning around these stations was first proposed in 2015, and handed back to council in 2018. Why do the inner west Greens want more delays? Tell council to get it done: supporthousingcode.good.do/innerwest/fair…

I have written my personal submission to Inner West's Fairer Future Plan. I love living in a TOD in the area with my kids, and think it would be greatly enriched by sharing it with more people from a diversity of backgrounds. Please make your own submission (link below) 👇

The state govt have announced that they are further increasing the density of the Camperdown dive site: up from 500 units to 577, with 220 for essential workers. They’re calling it ‘The Joinery, Annandale’. We’re so proud that our pressure has resulted in such a good outcome.

It's not common law, it's a shared planning profession that's fundamentally wrong in important ways about how the world works.
