My new book is out now. RT this and reply with your photos that provide a glimpse into the life of an insect. The more unusual the better. There's a couple of copies of my book up for grabs for the most interesting photos.

We're very excited about this paper led by Alex Mackintosh on the role of chromosome fissions and fusions in speciation. There's much theoretical and correlative work on this topic, but Alex's paper uses explicit tests for direct and indirect effects on the barrier to gene flow.
