Gen. Wilhelm Orlik-Rückemann served in the Polish Legions in WW1 and later defended Poland against the Red Army invasion. During WW2, he fought against the German-Soviet aggression before evacuating to the UK, where he joined the Polish Government in exile. He died #OTD in 1986.
