📣Our 🆕 paper Causal Inference is Not Just a Statistics Problem is out! @malco_barrett, @travisgerke, and I show that you can have 4 data sets with identical summary stats & visuals but very different data generating mechanisms-statistics alone can't tell you what to adjust for!

Pleased to get our Chapter on Psycho-Social Development of the Grassroots Football Players published in the book, Science and Practice of Youth Soccer. Thanks to my Co-authors Emma Eyre and James Mcfarlane we worked really well as team on this.

Some really interesting sessions yesterday at the Royal Statistical Society’s UK conference on teaching statistics and (UKCOTS) and some more planned for today - including our poster on teaching statistics in sport and exercise science across the UK.

Our research findings on teaching statistics in UK sport and exercise science, showcased on our poster, resonated with a number of people at the conference. This alignment sparked valuable discussions and debates. For me the conference has been really valuable.
