Sadly, the person rescued has been pronounced deceased. TFS extends deepest condolences to all those affected by this tragic loss. TFS Fire Investigators are on scene and will work with Toronto Police and Office of the Fire Marshal to determine origin, cause, and circumstances. ^av #Toronto

Today, alongside Toronto Firefighters, we honoured our fallen colleagues at the annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial, adding 17 names to the Toronto Fire Services Honour Roll. We will never forget the 353 Firefighters who gave their lives in service to others.
