Many thanks to all at The RHF Museum for hosting Mr Hartland & I today. It was great to see The Glasgow Academy artefacts on display & artwork from FP, Douglas Anderson. But most poignant was the temporary grave marker of Lt Col WH "Bertie" Anderson VC who was KIA on 25 March 1918.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet former pupil, Mr Mitchell who donated several photos from his time at The Glasgow Academy. This wonderful group photo is of the 1st XI from 1954 when Mr Mitchell was Captain.

We were thrilled to welcome former pupil John Beattie, who visited yesterday. John kindly donated his British Lions 1888 commemorative cap to the archive collection. He toured twice with the team to South Africa in 1980 and NZ in 1983 and played in the 1986 bi-centenary match.
