I’m genuinely surprised by how many people responded to this with the belief that tipping should be the same whether someone serves you a full meal or just hands you a drink. Tips are meant to match the level of service. Those are clearly not the same thing.

Our calathea ornata got attacked by spider mites, & apparently our crazy hard water was also killing it. Cut back everything but the two healthiest stems, flushed the soil, switched to (supplemented) distilled water. Months later, the first perfect leaves are about to unfurl :)

Travvy’s full name on all his vet records is Travis Mathieu Sager, by the way. So much love forever for Tyrann Mathieu. Still so grateful I got a chance to root for him as a member of my team (KC) & not just because I liked the guy :)

So…I got a bird feeder since obviously birds find my patio appealing, and oh boy. They’re emptying out a 15” tube feeder daily. And there aren’t even any grackles or anything. All finches, sparrows, cardinals, and some doves cleaning up what falls to the ground.

The implication here is that without being the father of a daughter Pat McAfee would have no idea that it was wrong to use his national television platform to amplify a salacious rumour about an 18-year-old college student.

Every couple of years I donate 16+ inches of hair and then I grow it out again so I can do it again. My hair is almost down to my ass already, but my nieces are OBSESSED w/ Tangled right now, so I’m gonna wait until I see them again before I chop it off :)

Even cooking like this is cheaper than takeout if you do it frequently enough to keep a stocked pantry. If you have to buy every single ingredient, sure it’s pricy. Buy in bulk and freeze/store the extra. If you’re buying all this shit every time, you suck at shopping.
