UPDATE: Troopers & Park Rangers carried an injured hiker for miles through rugged, rain-soaked terrain after she broke her leg deep in the Smokies. Two EMT rangers stayed with her overnight. She’s now stable at LeConte Medical. Ironically, they trained for this just 2 days ago.
