We had connections and research was extensuce and well known but business did not materialize and Kielikone’s focus changed. We were 20-30 years too early. Even computers were much too slow and memory very limited. Methods were also partly wrong, not based on Machine Learning.

Sitra’s investment was remarkable but still too small regarding complexity of challenges related to natural language processing. We live in and through language. Too much research even still goes into language as a formal system rather than dynamical, socio-cognitive system.
