Today, we joined two of our endorsed candidates as they were sworn in for their term in the TN State Legislature. We are proud to support these progressive champions and look forward to working together to create a TN where we can all belong and thrive.

VICTORY!! 🚨 Today, HB10 failed in the Depts. and Agencies Subcommittee. This bill was another attempt to make life harder for immigrants & criminalize our communities. Thanks to our partners & members for showing up at every step. Our fight to protect our families continues.

🚨HB322 passes in Criminal Justice Subcommittee. It gives full power to the Attorney General to further criminalize mixed status families & attack organizations, businesses, or families providing services to immigrants. It’s clear state overreach and harmful to all Tennesseans.

VICTORY!! 🚨 Today, SB1044 failed in Senate Ed. Committee. This bill was one of the measures attempting to strip children of their freedom to learn. Education is a right, not a privilege. Our fight to protect this right continues. It’s going to take all of us.

VICTORY💪🏽 HB0145 failed in House Banking & Consumer Affairs Sub. Aiming to strip away children's right to education & prohibit families from financially supporting their relatives abroad. Our fight to protect education continues with HB793 today in House Ed Committee at 4:30pm.

🚨HB793/SB836 advances in Senate Finance Committee. This bill tried to strip children of their freedom to learn. We know that education is a right, not a privilege. We’ve defeated 2 of these 3 bills already, and we’ll keep fighting to protect education for all.
