The past week at Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council has been dominated by Budget setting. Despite being in No Overall Control, we've set a Budget which no single Councillor voted against. It's because we're prioritising support for our towns and villages in Tonbridge and Malling 🧵1/4

In addition to all that, we've prioritised what matters to you: - £750k in Capital Plan schemes - £500k more in Climate Change projects - £1.85m towards Tonbridge Town Centre regeneration - £1.3m towards more Temporary Accommodation 2/4

- £345k investment into our Local Plan to deliver sustainable development across the borough - Housing benefit support for over 3,000 households 3/4

Despite the risk of political uncertainty hampering growth, we've shown it is still possible to deliver sustainable initiatives to support the community in the toughest of circumstances. I'm looking forward to the year ahead! 4/4
