Overnight, #TMFR Engines responded to a fire on the 5400 block of Pearl Dr. Crews contained fire to a travel trailer (total loss), numerous disabled vehicles, and debris. No injuries and cause under investigation.

Today, we salute and bid farewell to #TMFR Fire Captain Mike Krysztof. After 40 years of service. Mike also served as a firefighter in the Nevada Air National Guard and retired after serving for 21 years. #FireFamily #TMFRProud #FireCaptain #FireAndRescue #Firefighter ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

โš ๏ธAt 3:30 pm, #TMFR crews responded to a travel trailer fire on arrival on the 17000 block of Egret Ln in Cold Springs. Fire extended to fence and yard debris and unoccupied mobile home. Fire is out. No injuries and cause under investigation. Please avoid area as crews mop up.

โš ๏ธ#TMFR Crews responded to an approximate 2 acre brushfire in light fuels high in the hills west of Washoe Lake this afternoon. Bureau of Land Management- Nevada Crews also on scene. Good progress being made. No structures threatened, no injuries reported. Caused by target shooting.

Approx 9am today, #TMFR Crews have stopped a 1/4 brush fire in Sun Valley on the 5200 block of Carol Drive. No structures or property lost. Crews will remain on scene for mop up. No injuries reported, probable cause is an escaped cooking fire.
