Last week we welcomed guest artist residency of the semester with Alice Blumenfeld. Alice’s passion and background in flamenco culture with the collaboration of our dance students was the driving force of her set work. You can see her piece at the December Dance Concert!

Are you ready to revolt? This past week, actors began rehearsals for "Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again." Written by Alice Birch, this play gives insight to feminist revolution and earned Birch the George Devine Award for Most Promising New Playwright. Tickets are on sale now!

One of the Dance Program’s producing companies, To Sangana, experienced residency with Detroit’s Queen of Jit, Queen Gabby. The work she recently developed with To Sangana is an intergenerational piece that represents the origins, the now, and where Jit is headed.
