Take a look at our latest review on nuclear receptor crosstalk in Nature Reviews Endocrinology. Glad to have collaborated with Eva Estébanez-Perpiñá & Luc Brunsveld! Nature Reviews Endocrinology @EstebanezLab

Please help spreading! The VIB Medical Biotechnology De Bosscher lab and my lab are hiring a talented PhD student who fearlessly will take on the challenge of using conformational proteomics to study the glucorticoid receptor. More info: jobs.vib.be/j/28602/phd-po….

Check out the latest review of Dorien Clarisse (Postdoc Translational Nuclear Receptor Research Lab ) in BBA-Reviews on Cancer. We discuss the need to reevaluate the use of glucocorticoids in lymphoid malignancies and how a deep understanding of glucocorticoid responsiveness is required. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Striving to improve treatment responses and quality of life of multiple myeloma patients by studying nuclear receptor crosstalk (Dorien Clarisse, Translational Nuclear Receptor Research Lab) #whywecare #dagtegenkanker

New work of Laura of Translational Nuclear Receptor Research Lab and my lab: "Novel assays monitoring direct glucocorticoid receptor protein activity exhibit high predictive power for ligand activity on endogenous gene targets" biorxiv.org/content/10.110… with Sandi Vennetti An Staes and many more!

The limited predictive power of cell-based screening assays hampers the search for better glucocorticoids. In this latest research, we developed novel luciferase-based assays that are consistently better predictors for GC signaling on the endogenous level. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Last month, Eleni Staessens won the Ziphius-award for her master thesis around the use of HDAC6 inhibitors in Multiple Myeloma. This month, Eleni started her PhD in our Translational Nuclear Receptor Research Lab. Congrats and welcome (back) Eleni!

Interview by our Translational Nuclear Receptor Research Lab team members Milton Antwi and Nick Deploey !
