When calling 911, don’t hang up. Even if you do, your call stays in the queue. Let the operator know you’re safe to avoid delays—especially in emergencies, as a second call goes to the back of the line. #911Safety #StayOnTheLine #EmergencyResponse

Today, Chief Myron Demkiw, Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦, the Canadian Black Clergies & Allies & faith leaders led the city-wide #TPSPrayerWalk. This interfaith walk, which started 19 years ago in Etobicoke to meet with the community and pray, has now expanded service-wide. Thank you to everyone

From canvassing neighbourhoods to assisting with missing persons reports, to following up with victims of crime, to simply extending a smile to a community member at a Toronto Police Service event, volunteers make a real difference in this city.

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honour the lives lost to anti-transgender violence, each with their own story. Their memory drives us to keep fighting for a world where everyone is safe and seen. Reflect, learn, and remember.
