The TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy SNPhA Chapter's Prescription for Service (P4S) team placed in the Top 5 teams in the national competition! The team, which includes P1s Blanca Alvarez, Nathan Charay, Paulina Cruz, and Beverly Yu, were awarded $2,500 to implement their project this summer.

Denise Anderson, PharmD, was selected by faculty & students as the 2025 Bowl of Hygieia recipient. The award goes to the graduate who best exemplifies the qualities most desirable in a pharmacist. Congratulations, Dr. Anderson!

Molly Minze was recently part of a national webinar hosted by the Student Services SIG of the AACP. The webinar, Innovative Practices in Holistic PharmD Admissions Processes, showcased approaches to admission with aims to recruit qualified students w/varied experiences.

Taygan Henderson, Class of 2025, was the recipient of an USPHS Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Award. She was 1 of 89 pharmacy students from across the country nominated for their efforts in addressing current public health challenges and 1 of just 10 selected for the award!

Pharmacy Summer Camps for high school students took place on both the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Amarillo & Abilene campuses last week. On day 1 at the Amarillo camp, students completed anatomage and sterile products lab activities, a tour and scavenger hunt in the Texas Pharmacy Museum and more.

Madelyn Mullinax, was recently accepted into the 2025 AACP SAS Summer Research Exchange Program under the mentorship of Dr. Natalie Hohmann at Auburn University, Harrison College of Pharmacy. Based on the merit of her application, she was also awarded a $2500 scholarship.
