Q5. Would you ever consider crowdfunding for your graphic novel/zine/small book if this was a format that you wanted to try or would you only try to go through a traditional publisher? #TWSOchat #graphicnovels

Q6. Here's an article ~ Graphic Novel Pitch Package that provides some more details on what to include in a pitch - buff.ly/3D5TwvT Would you prefer to find an illustrator to team up with or see if you do get a nod for publishing if they would suggest one? #TWSOchat

A2. The pitching process for graphic novels is interesting and I don't know if I'd have an illustrator to work with/suggest or not. Maybe it would depend on the publisher that I'm pitching to and whether it looks like they help out with that? #TWSOchat ^ct

A5. I don't know that I would ever consider crowdfunding or not. I think I'd be hesitant because it might not for me on a personal level. It'd have to be really solid idea with lots of support at the beginning & usually that is not something I see in early stages #TWSOchat ^ct

Q7. What kind of illustrative style would you like for your ideal graphic novel? It could be done in hand drawn line art, digital illustration, some kind of mixed media, watercolour etc. Here are some examples - buff.ly/4ijuBoJ #TWSOchat

Q8. If you were going to pitch a graphic novel, who would your target audience be and why? Do you think it'd be easier to get one published if it was targeted towards a particular market or for a target audience that you are familiar with writing for? #TWSOchat #graphicnovels

Q9. Have you found any good resources around graphic novels? I just happened upon this cool section in The Guardian that reviews a graphic novel every month - buff.ly/49w2ZZA #TWSOchat #graphicnovels

We'll be at Waves Coffee at 900 Howe St this Sunday, March 23 at 10:30am sprinting our little hearts out. If you're in Vancouver, come down and join us. There's nothing like the virtuous feeling of having written a bunch of words before noon on a Sunday. #TWSsprints
