Five school teams competing today in our KS2 Girls TennisShropsStaffs LTA Tennis Festival. Grange Park PE Hollinswood Primary Lawley Primary School Newdale Primary School


We have 22 primary schools attending our Sportshall Athletics KS1 event today. All trying out new sports and creating new friends. Telford College Sport leaders are doing great brilliantly leading all of the activities.


Matt, Ed and the team of coaches Newport Salop RUFC are running some fantastic coaching session for girls from local Telford & Wrekin secondary schools this afternoon. The sessions are part of an England Rugby Schools project getting young into the sport. England Rugby Shropshire Star


Getting young involved in sport. We held Barclays Football Barclays Women's Super League KS4 girls football session Telford College Sport recently. Our first School College & University T1 Rugby Young Ambassadors event of the new year took place Newport Salop RUFC this week. Putting together plans for the T1 Year 7 Girls’ event Telford College Sport later this month. Great pizza provided by Papa Johns UK too!


34 teaching staff attended our Rugby Football Union England Rugby primary schools course Wrekin College: Wrekin Old Hall Trust. yesterday. All attending schools received an equipment package to help introduce T1 Rugby to their pupils. We look forward to seeing T1 launched in our schools. School College & University T1 Rugby



This week we launched T1 England Rugby School College & University T1 Rugby with 6 local secondary schools at a Year 7 Girls’ event Telford College Sport. The #T1RugbySeries was planned and delivered by our amazing Rugby Young Ambassadors. Youth Sport Trust

Big thanks to Newport Salop RUFC for hosting and providing coaches for our KS3 Boys Rugby 🏉 Development session fully supported by School College & University T1 Rugby Rugby Football Union & Continental Tyres yesterday. It was great to see so many students from BBSPE and HLC PE Department participating.


16 schools participated in our KS2 Sportsability Football Festival hosted by AFC Telford United (P) as part of Barclays Football Youth Sport Trust funded programme. Students of Access Sport College at Telford ran well planned sessions to ensure participants had a fun learning experience.

Our England Rugby Schools England Rugby secondary school teachers’ contact rugby course took place today Newport Salop RUFC. 10 teachers from across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin attended. We are looking forward to the attending schools launching their new rugby programmes.
