Non IR clinicians: How many procedures does an IR service perform in an average day (assume 2 physicians and 1 PA)? Part 2 coming.

Thank you to Society of Interventional Radiology for putting on an amazing meeting #SIR24SLC! It was a great experience for the past, present, and future of the @VUMCradiology. Look forward to seeing everyone in Nashville next year!

Stop being a baby when you get feedback. Someone is giving you a window into how they experience you. They might fumble, be insensitive, offend you, or even be wrong. Who cares? Show gratitude for their courage so they'll keep doing it. This is the data you need to improve.

Saw a very similar case during training where a recurrent left leg DVT was referred to IR as a May Thurners. OSH venogram didn't look convincing and sure enough a remote pelvis MRI barely showed some fibroids. Highlights the importance of IR/DR integration. #IRad

One of the highlights of #SIR25Nash, #ExtremeIR presentation from one of my senior partners, Dr. Camacho. TEE guidance and transeptal access for embolization. Part of the #IRad toolbox.
