Your Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) Firefighters and Texas Emergency Medical Task Force (EMTF) are headed back home! Having provided 14 days of assistance with the Palisades Fire in California, they now begin the return trip home to Texas after deploying under a state-to-state agreement.

The Texas EMTF continues to support the response to historic flooding with 6 severe weather packages activated across the state. Currently, 162 #TXEMTF personnel and 79 assets are deployed. Pictured below: deployed assets in Kerrville, TX.

🚨 The #TXEMTF has deployed 220+ personnel and 130 assets statewide to support search, rescue, and recovery in flood and storm-affected areas. 📍 Teams are currently operating in Kerr, Sutton, San Saba, Lampasas, Comal, and Williamson counties. #TexansHelpingTexans

85 agencies from across Texas are deployed right now as part of the Texas Emergency Medical Task Force. So far: ✅ 6,637 patient encounters ✅ 182 patients treated ✅ 109 transported This is what we mean when we say "Texans helping Texans."
