Eli Saro Imran 🏳️‍⚧️ The criminalisation of trans identities is a barrier to the HIV response. In Uganda where the abhorrent Anti-Homosexuality Act is in place, the impact is already clear. UK must further condemn the AHA. And address urgent need for asylum for LGBT+ people who’s lives are at risk.

Eli Saro Imran 🏳️‍⚧️ Digital spaces can offer sanctuary but are also often targeted by anti-LGBT+ groups. #Privacy laws are not universally strong, nor is enforcement of these laws. It’s not just governments who must act, but social media companies who hold much of this data, adds Tabitha Ha.
