1800 E 72nd St, 4:13am - TFD crews responded to a call that a portable classroom building was on fire. Crews contained the fire to one building and have already knocked down the fire. Currently working on hot spots. No injuries. Cause is under investigation.

S. 56th St & S. Cheyenne St, 8:05pm - TFD responded to a 3 car accident with minor injuries. Please use caution in the area while @TPD continues to investigate the accident.

9400 Tacoma Ave S, 12:05am - TFD responded to a call that someone’s back patio was on fire. When crews arrived on scene, they found the 2-story home on fire. Crews are still on scene putting out hot spots. No injuries to report at this time.

S 56th St & S Thompson Ave, 6pm - TFD crews responded to a 2-car accident with one vehicle on its side, and one person trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters were extricated the patient, and transported that person to a local hospital.

East 84th and McKinley, 1:26pm - TFD crews are on scene of a 2-car accident. One minor injury. Roadway is partially blocked with one vehicle on its side. Tacoma Police Department is on scene and investigating,

S. I St & S. 96th St, 5:19pm - TFD crews responded to a car that caught fire after hitting a power pole. 1 person transported to a local hospital. Tacoma Public Utilities on scene now to address power pole issue. Avoid the area for a bit longer while the scene is cleared. Tacoma Police Department investigating.

1400 blk Rainier Ct, 4:01pm - TFD crews responded to an apartment fire in a 4-unit bldg. The unit where the fire started was significantly damaged. Adjacent unit also suffered damage. No injuries. Fire is under investigation.
