In AEA Journals AER, a study (by Taha Choukhmane Lucas Goodman 🏳️‍🌈 Cormac O'Dea) of over 1 million US respondents shows that many couples do not allocate their retirement savings into accounts with higher employer match rates, contrary to theoretical models of household decision-making.
