One of the biggest privileges I’ve had during my 3.5-years at Duke University School of Medicine has been working with this superstar Tanner Zachem. None of this would have been posible without the extraordinary teamwork and mentorship from Goodwin Lab Edwin Owolo M.D. and Brain Tool Lab Duke Neurosurgery

2 years ago, I texted Theodore Schwartz MD that I needed advice. Within 15 mins we were on the phone and he talked me through my options, giving me the confidence to take my next steps. Regardless of your background, similar advice and interesting stories are within. Give it a read!!!

New pub: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39332687/ Duke Spine,we have assembled a group of research scientists, surgeons and non-surgeons to see if we can use machine-learning to streamline the process and to hopefully take better care of these complicated patients.

Nice start to the new year! Nice to see our paper on Machine Learning in the Diagnosis, Management, and Care of Patients with low back pain in print on cover in The Spine Journal. thespinejournalonline.com/article/S1529-… Duke Spine
