Grateful to have the chance to attend the Monaco USA Arrhythmia Conference this year - learned a lot from international colleagues and great country to see! @d_changy Tarek Zghaib Marine Arnaud

More impressive work from Penn Electrophysiology Fellowship Tarek Zghaib evaluated the current path of >18k patients Penn Medicine with new diagnosis of AF. Limited use of first line rhythm control (22%) and ablation (4%). Important for #EPeeps to be aware how few are seeing us. Saman Nazarian, MD, PhD

Haven’t seen this many white coats together in one place for some time now. What an honor to call this group (and the many who didn’t make the picture) my colleagues! Penn Cardiology Penn Cardiology Fellows Penn Women in Cardiology PennCV_ARMI Tom Cappola, MD

Dr. Fermin Garcia summarizes the good, bad and ugly of PVCs at Cardiology Grand Rounds this AM. 1. Identify structural heart disease and reversible causes - CMR 2. Risk stratification 3. Understanding "idiopathic VF" 4. Role of ablation #Epeeps Penn Cardiology Fermin Carlos Garcia

Penn Electrophysiology Fellowship Penn Cardiology Penn Medicine Tarek Zghaib presented two projects on our experience @Penncardiology with ethanol venous ablation for PVCs and VT. Still a lot to learn about the optimal patient selection, procedural approach, and risks but certainly promising early results. Look for full data soon.
