Winter Is Here... with black ice. If a car drives too fast and travels over black ice, the car can slide out of control and cause a crash. Drivers, in adverse weather - slow down, drive to the condition, and always obey road closures. For further info - bit.ly/2UECxKM

Liverpool Street between Argyle and Elizabeth Street will remain closed until further notice, with an update provided tomorrow morning. At this stage, police have not received a safety clearance to re-open the road in the vicinity of the Brunswick Hotel following a fire.

Liverpool Street between Argyle and Elizabeth Streets remains closed to allow safety inspections to be completed following the Brunswick Hotel fire. The road cannot be opened until City of Hobart has received appropriate advice that the site is safe to open. Further update today.
