Today is #metastaticbreastcancer awareness day . The determination of Tassia Haines, Mags Holloway (Riordan) and others to achieve change has contributed to significant positive developments in 🏴. Still plenty to do, but enough to celebrate. Greg Pycroft reflects. tenovuscancercare.org.uk/news-and-views…

Today is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Last year, Senedd Cymru were about to debate a petition by Tassia Haines for better metastatic breast cancer services in Wales. 1/2🧵

Mags Holloway (Riordan) Macmillan Cancer Support METUPUK Tassia Haines Mags I can only echo this, Zoe's powerful comment "just because we can't offer it for everyone doesn't mean we can't offer it for anybody", great things come from small steps 💚

Attended METUPUK conference in Wales today. Totally agree with Kat Southwell (nee Lee), Zoe Barber's endless drive for improvements in cancer care, and her empathy with patients living with metastatic breast cancer was clear to see. Great to see mutual respect between her & Tassia Haines.

Tassia Haines deserves this award so much. She followed Carolyn's lead in campaigning for improvements in MBC care, and has achieved so much with METUPUK, Zoe Barber, Ann Baker BEM & Mags Holloway (Riordan) 👉Jo Taylor MBC red flags embedded across Wales 👏🏻 👉MBC care pathway👏🏻
