Today is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Last year, Senedd Cymru were about to debate a petition by Tassia Haines for better metastatic breast cancer services in Wales. 1/2🧵

In August 57% of people diagnosed with cancer in Wales received their first treatment within 62 days of when it was first suspected they may have cancer. 1/3

This is still far from perfect, but it's the highest % seen this year, so let's push to keep improving cancer waiting times and make sure everyone gets the care they need in a timely fashion. 2/3
