Huge thanks to #PAM2022 organizers and all participants! Really enjoyed learning more about such amazing (and vulnarable!) environments β Cultural immerse with @JenniHultman, Robyn Barbato, Tatiana Vishnivetskaya, PhD and others in beautiful Potsdam as the cherry on the top of the cake!

It's been great to host Simon Roux from Joint Genome Institute at University of Helsinki for an exciting HiLIFE_Helsinki seminar talk and a wonderful workshop about virus ecogenomics! Thanks for amazing insights from the world of phages and beyond! Special thanks to @JenniHultman for all the support π

Challenged myself with writing a blog post for Nesslingin sÀÀtiâ in Finnish :) Briefly, we unexpectedly got new Bdellovibrio-related prey bacteria isolated while trying to isolate viruses from tundra soils. Research is exciting! Thanks to @JenniHultman and Johanna OsvÑth for help!

Enjoying amazing #VoM2024 in Australia, Queensland, the Sunshine State! Viruses of Microbes 2024 #VoM2024PhotoChallenge P.S. Welcome to my poster 008 tomorrow! βοΈ

It's been 1 wonderful month at Joint Genome Institute in Simon Roux group studying the effects of #reindeer grazing on #soil #viruses, a project with @JenniHultman. Highly recommend MVP by ClΓ©ment Coclet! Thanks Uri Neri, Juan & other folks for warm welcoming! Take care and see you!
