In Saturday's win over DMACC, freshman Tayler Helgemoe blocked 8 shots, which is tied for 6th on NIACC women's basketball single-game blocked shots list. It was the most in a game since Madison Hillman blocked 10 shots against Black Hawk College-Moline on Nov. 4, 2023.

The NIACC women's basketball team topped Ellsworth 72-59 in the NJCAA Region 11-B title game tonight in Iowa Falls. The Trojans face North Platte CC Saturday in North Platte, Neb. with the winner going to the NJCAA Division II national tournament in Joplin, Mo. March 17-22.

DII WBB🏀 REGION 11-🅱️ CHAMPIONS NIACC picked up their first Region 11 title since 2020! The Trojans will look to reach the NJCAA National Tournament for the first time since 2020, back when they earned the No. 1 overall seed. #NJCAABasketball🏀
