TCIS AD's will continue to communicate & monitor the situation with the hope to play again this spring. Once it is safe to resume play, we will work together to build schedules that we hope will allow for the best experience possible for our SA's given the current challenge.

The TCIS, along with our other VISAA schools, was saddened to hear the message that all Virginia schools, public & private, will be closed for the remainder of the year. Unfortunately, this means the spring athletic season, as we had imagined it, is also cancelled.

Our athletic directors are continuing to meet regularly with the goal of continued support of our student athletes and are looking forward to having our students on the fields again as soon as it is safe to do so.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out today for the Lampert family with the passing of long time NA Athletics XC & Track Coach, Ken. His work for the community and our students will always be remembered. Thank you Coach ♥️

Norfolk Academy lost a legend today. Coach Ken Lampert ‘72 coached cross country and track for over 40 years for the Bulldogs and impacted several thousand young men and women. “Ken epitomized and embodies what selfless service to your fellow man and woman truly means”
