Thank you to Imam Tahir Kukaj for inviting me to join worshippers at the Albanian Islamic Cultural Center last night for their annual interfaith prayer and Ramadan Iftar! I presented them with an award for their more than 50 years of service to our Staten Island community.

I joined #StatenIsland’s Assembly Delegation to welcome and recognize Barbara D’Amora and the team at CrimsonRise during Session yesterday. I recently toured their new facility currently in development to empower individuals with non-speaking autism to communicate and thrive.

We welcomed Thomas D. Homan to Albany today calling on the reversal of ‘sanctuary city’ policies to allow local police departments to cooperate with federal immigration officials. The insanity must end now!

It was great to see Orit Lender and the JCC of Staten Island team in Albany earlier this week! I have long been a supporter of many of the JCC’s programs, including Sunrise Day Camp #onStatenIsland. Now more than ever, we must stand with these strong community institutions!

Assemblyman Mike Tannousis and I met with students from Staten Island Tech’s Concert Band program who visited the State Capitol today as part of #MIOSM Music In Our Schools Month. I always look forward to seeing this talented group of young musicians and appreciate their passion!

Great meeting with some of the AHRC New York City team this morning #onStatenIsland! Now more than ever we must protect vital programs like this that support our special needs community. I’ll fight to make sure these groups receive their fair share because it’s what they deserve.

While I’m in Albany advocating for our needs in the state budget, #TeamReilly joined hundreds of concerned Staten Islanders last night to oppose the homeless shelter in Tottenville. There will be no concessions — we do not want this in our community! silive.com/news/2025/03/o…

Why are Albany Democrats blocking common sense reform? At today’s Codes Committee meeting, my bill to fix New York’s disastrous #RaisetheAge law was BLOCKED by Assembly Democrats. Watch the video below to see it for yourself! Under the current law, 16- and 17-year-olds caught

I spoke yesterday on a Resolution for Police Memorial Day and evoked the memory of Port Authority of NY & NJ P.O. Anthony Varvaro, a fellow Staten Islander who died in the line of duty in 2022. His name is being added to the Police Memorial Wall in Albany — his memory never to be forgotten!

Albany Democrats are shorting Staten Island once again — this time by depriving us of vital judicial seats. Despite being 6% of the city’s population, we only receive 3% of the judges. It just doesn’t make any sense! Check out this clip from yesterday where I debated part of

Grateful that my colleagues in Washington, like Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, are standing firm to restore the ‘SALT’ cap and protect critical programs like Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Social Security. On behalf of Staten Island’s middle- and working-class families, thank you!

As street gangs continue to exploit young and vulnerable New Yorkers, Albany Democrats are once again pushing to make it harder for the police and prosecutors to do their jobs. This week, I debated a bill that would make it even harder for law enforcement to hold violent youth
