This week we're sharing tips on staying safe while online shopping. Follow these 5 tips to keep your accounts safe. The first tip is to think before you click. If you think it's too good to be true, it probably is! Make sure you report anything suspicious as spam or phishing.

Our 2nd tip for the week is to choose safe payment options. Credit cards offer consumer protection while 3rd-party payment options are especially safe bc you don't give the retailer your credit/debit card information. Consider using these options when shopping this season!

Even while using safe payment options, monitoring bank and credit card statements is a must. It's always a smart decision to check your accounts for unrecognized payments. If you do notice a suspicious payment, make sure to contact your bank or credit card company immediately.

Here are our last two safe online shopping tips just in time to prepare you for a safe Cyber Monday! Always use secure WiFi when purchasing online and not public WiFi as it's not secure. TGH always recommends utilizing multi-factor authentication. Happy online shopping!
