First of a 2-part character preview today, on #Coralphonzo: Cora is a hot mess. An overemotional but highly intelligent student of magic, she admires traditional halfling values and wants to raise a family, but loves adventure as much as she loves her half-elven boyfriend.

Part 2 character preview on #Coralphonzo: Young, strong, and brave, Alphonzo left his wild elf father's tribal lands to make his way in the human-centric world as a freelancer. He may seem cool and confident, but what he wants most is to protect Cora and prove himself as a man.

The protagonists of my #fantasynovel are hunting the bounty on a rare plant called the Angel's Tongue, said to take root only in the most corrupt subterranean soils. The plant glows with a constant, multispectral light that other crops can grow from, making it invaluable.

Keeping track of all the little quirks, tendencies, and appearance details of an ensemble cast is trickier than I realized! But on the other hand, I love how it breathes life into them. What do you think, #bookworm crew?

I'm not sure if I'd consider my fantasy novels' setting to be #noblebright or #grimdark... It has elements of both, especially with the kind of concepts I want to explore in physically-represented morality and ethics.

Another #Wayfinders character profile incoming! The de facto group dad, Baldrik is the eldest and most experienced Wayfinder. A dwarven priest on the last of his holy quests, he's taking one final group of newbies under his wing before he can return to his family far away.

Rith One-Eye's rank & file soldiers are the hobgoblins who ply the #Stonelethe's underground riverways. Their iron-bottomed boats trail rust-stained wakes like blood in the water, but they know the labyrinthine wends of their queen's territory better than anyone else.

Statues of those who've crossed Rith One-Eye can be found throughout the Stonelethe, shaped of dark green & black serpentinite. It's whispered that her lair, the Statue Garden, is lined entirely with thousands of such petrified foes—an awesome display of her power and cruelty.

Despised, used, and all but ignored, the Stonelethe's kobolds are at the bottom of Rith One-Eye's hierarchy. It's only natural that they've latched onto the erratic leadership of Puelossi, an ambitious young black dragoness who's filled their little hearts with #populist fervor.
