Congrats to Daron Acemoglu, Johnson, and Robinson for winning the nobel prize for ecocomics 2024. I just read "power and progress" with great enthusiasm. One takeaway for the current debate: AI does not automatically lead to greater prosperity. It depends on the choices we make.
