A big thanks to Micheál Martin Martin TD, who joined our Chief Operating Officer Geoff Byrne today to help turn the sod on the site of our construction of a Tesco Superstore at Fermoy, Co Cork. The store will open in summer 2025 and will employ in the region of 100 colleagues.

Maintaining strong multi-year partnerships with our Irish Suppliers is crucial for our business. We’ve just signed a €36m multi-year agreement with Aurivo to supply 28m litres of milk and cream, as well as branded butter and milkshake drinks, to all 177 of our stores.

We’re proud of the offering available from our new and long-standing Irish supplier partners. We’ve been working with the team Irish Yogurts Clonakilty for several years, and have just penned a new €10m multi-year deal with them, to provide yogurts to all 177 of our stores.

We’ve just opened our latest store in Cookstown, Dublin 24, creating 13 new jobs. It brings to 178 the total number of stores we now have across Ireland. Located on the Luas Red Line, the new store will include an instore bakery, coffee station, and DRS machine.
