Thanks to the nonprofit group Houston Loves Teachers and SRHS alum/artist David Maldonado, Rayburn is getting a new mural in the Commons! Under the guidance of Mr. Maldonado, our students will conceptualize, help design, and paint the mural. Stay tuned for progress pics!

Angelique Valero, with her work titled: ‘Sushi Bar”, was named an Scholastic Art & Writing Awards National Silver Medalist. This national award is a testament of her dedication, as well as the the passion and support of her teacher, Ms. Thompson from Sam Rayburn High School . Way to go, Angelique! 🥳
