Eye Donation Fortnight was observed by Dept. of Ophthalmology with an Awareness Rally & Street Play on Cornea donation. In the formal meeting Principal Dr.Karuna Hazarika, Superintendent Dr.Rupam Borgohain & other faculties addressed the gathering.

Today Amrit Brikshya Andolan was observed at TMC&H by planting 100 saplings on the campus. The observation was attended by the Principal, Medical Suprintendent, Deputy Superintendents, Faculties, Staff & students of the college. The programme ended with light refreshments.

Breakthrough Surgical Procedure done at TMCH on 10th October 2023. 5th Metacarpal Bone reconstruction done with 3D printed Scaffold filled with bone Graft in a case of Enchondroma. This is the 1st of its kind operative procedure done in the entire Northeast &surrounding region.

A voluntary blood donation awareness drive cum blood donation camp was organised by JDA TMCH in association with TMCSU yesterday. Benefits and myths about blood donation was highlighted in the occasion. A Street play was organised in front of the OPD block TMCH.

A Stroke Unit was inaugurated today in the 3rd floor of the Hospital Building,TMCH by Principal cum Chief Superintendent Prof (Dr.) Karuna Hazarika,TMCH, in presence of Medical Superintendents, senior faculty members and staff.The Unit is dedicated for the inpatient stroke cases.
