If you have an N.C. absentee ballot still to return, it must reach the county board of elections by 7:30 pm Tues Nov 5. If mailing USPS first class, I suggest doing so by TODAY. Ballots can also be delivered by voter or near relative to any open early voting site in the county

Spending a lot of this Election Day in the air, particularly when polls close. Reminds me of checking to see if I passed the CA bar exam. Results posted at 6pm and I entered a tunnel on BART at 5:59. Had to wait an agonizing 3 minutes to see my fate. Maybe we will have wifi?
